Lovetee Braids and Beauty Supplies did an amazing job on my braids. The stylist was so skilled and friendly. I left feeling beautiful and confident. Highly recommend this braiding salon!

My appointment was for butterfly locs in July. The lady that did my hair ONE showed up late. TWO had somewhere to go after my appointment so quite a few of my braids were loose. I did go to get the few fixed (by someone else because she wasn't even there! Despite agreeing to the appointment!!!) but regardless I eventually loved how it turned out. Fast forward to today I'm in the process of taking down my hair. Took a few down and noticed my hair was looped within itself and it made taking out the first three braids a breeze and I cut all three at the same length no issues. So I safely assumed all of my hair was looped the same way so I started to cut section by section and noticed after taking down the braids per section my hair was not looped the same way throughout my head and half of my hair was within the braid I cut!!!....it's like a 2nd grader cut my hair! Waste of $240 bucks. Originally $230 but she complained about me using cash app because they take out a certain percentage. So to recap: late for the appointment (I showed up at least 15 mins before my time she showed up 20 after) my hair was half together because she had somewhere to be. Made another appointment to fix my hair she wasn't there and luckily someone else was. And now the take down process went from a breeze to now I may have to do a big chop and completely start my hair growth process... Completely waste of my time, energy and money. I am beyond upset....

To reply to the response my Appointment was July 5th and I don't remember the ladies who messed up my hair. No point in trying to fix anything I'm not coming back here. Huge waste of time and money.

Hi My dear Brittany, I am so sorry for your disappointment. I do not remember any butterfly locs on my list for July . Did you remember what date it was? Did you also remember the person name, and do you have pictures? I think it was a different shop in the same building. We are located on the second floor of the building. We have three businesses for braids in the building. However, we do not allow three people to operate one person hair. So please send us your pictures, and we will see how we can be a help. 
Run!!! They have no understanding of hair care. If you want bald edges. hair breakage and braids so tight you have bumps and can't sleep, this is your place!
I am loving my faux locs and it only took her 4 hours. I'm very grateful that she worked me into her schedule and I will be returning again.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of getting my hair done at Lovetee Braids, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. From start to finish, my visit was nothing short of a disaster.
Firstly, the owner seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged my presence. It took an eternity for someone to even acknowledge my appointment, and when they finally did, it was with an air of indifference that set the tone for the entire visit.
Once in the chair, I tried to communicate my desired hairstyle (Bantu knotless medium) to the stylist, but it became apparent that they never done this style before. Despite my repeated attempts to provide clear instructions/ video, it felt like they were doing whatever they pleased, resulting in a hair glue that bore no resemblance to what I had requested. It was as if they were following their own agenda rather than catering to the customer's preferences.
The overall atmosphere of the salon was chaotic and unprofessional. The staff appeared more focused on gossiping amongst themselves than on providing quality service. The lack of attention to detail was evident not only in my disastrous haircut but also in the messy and unkempt appearance of the salon itself.
To add insult to injury, the pricing was exorbitant for the subpar service I received. I expected to pay a premium for a high-quality salon, but what I got was far from worth the cost. It's clear that this salon prioritizes profit over customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, my experience at Lovetee Braid was a complete letdown. From the apathetic to the unskilled stylist, the entire visit was marked by incompetence and a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly advise anyone considering this salon to think twice and explore other options where your time and money will be better invested.
The style I wanted is on the left and the style I got is on the right.
P.S. She did ask me to do deposit, which I refused to do before my appointment because I never been to this specific salon. A 30 minute delay start time and gluing my hair to create the knot at the end. It took two hours to take down my hair because she used a lot of glue. I do not recommend this salon to anyone. It deserves no stars.

I appreciate that your salon requires a deposit to secure appointments, and I willingly complied with this policy. However, the purpose of such a policy is to ensure a commitment from both parties involved. Regrettably, my recent experience has left me feeling dissatisfied.
Despite arriving promptly for my scheduled appointment, I was disheartened to find that the salon was not ready to accommodate me at the agreed-upon time. The delay not only inconvenienced me but also compromised my schedule for the rest of the day.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, leading to delays. However, as a customer who has made the effort to honor the appointment and has adhered to the deposit policy, I expected a more punctual and professional service.
In light of this experience, I would like to address the following concerns:
Punctuality: Timeliness is crucial in the service industry, and the delay I encountered was not in line with my expectations.
Communication: I would appreciate improved communication regarding any delays or changes to scheduled appointments. This would have allowed me to adjust my plans accordingly.
Deposit Policy: While I understand the necessity of a deposit, I believe it is fair to expect a reciprocal commitment from the salon to honor the agreed-upon appointment time.
I sincerely hope that this feedback is taken constructively, as my intention is not to criticize but to highlight areas for improvement.
I would appreciate it if you could kindly review my concerns and provide any insights or resolutions you deem appropriate. Your attention to this matter is highly appreciated.

Lovetee braided my daughter hair very beautiful with no pain. This is the kind of braided shop we need in Brooklyn Center, and our community. Not every beauty is pain.
Lovetee fingers are indeed blessed. I believe God sent her for this generation. I recommend this salon. Their braids are neat and feels good.
